Welcome to The Curated Home. By booking a service, you agree to the following terms.

1. About Us

The Curated Home is a sole trader business based in Amsterdam, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK: 99878100), owned and operated by Nicola Oldfield.

2. Services

We provide professional home organising services including full home edits, wardrobe curation, pantry & kitchen organisation, kids room organisation, home office setup, and ongoing maintenance. All services are tailored to each client’s home and needs.

3. Bookings & Payment

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking date. The remaining balance is due on the day of your session. We accept bank transfer, Tikkie, and major credit cards. Invoices are provided for every booking.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made more than 7 days before your scheduled session can be rescheduled free of charge. Cancellations within 7 days forfeit the deposit, though we will always do our best to accommodate rescheduling to a mutually convenient date.

5. Products & Storage

Sustainable, plastic-free organising products are sourced on your behalf. Products are billed at cost price with no markup. We will only purchase what has been agreed in advance.

6. Confidentiality

Your home and personal belongings are treated with complete confidentiality. We do not share details, photographs, or information about your home with third parties without explicit permission.

7. Photography

With your written permission, we may take before-and-after photographs for portfolio and marketing purposes. Faces, personal items, and identifying details will always be excluded or blurred unless otherwise agreed.

8. Liability

Every care is taken when handling your belongings. However, The Curated Home is not liable for pre-existing damage or wear. Clients are responsible for securing valuables and fragile items before sessions.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam.
